Warm air seemed to wrap around them as they held each other’s gaze.

“Do you think I’m beautiful?”

She caught him off guard.

Not the words. The tone. She sounded small. Vulnerability buried in the question.

“The truth.”

Her voice held a slight quaver. He’d hesitated too long.

“Just because there’s money between us doesn’t mean that we should be liars.”

“Yes.” He said softly.

She looked like she needed to hear it again.

“Yes.” He caught her arm just above the elbow and tugged it towards him. His hand sliding down her forearm until he cupped her palm over his hardening erection. “I think you are exquisitely beautiful.”

“Then show me.” Her fingers curled, exploring him through the crotch of his trousers. “I want to remember what  beautiful feels like.”

He nodded. He understood numb.

“I’ll leave a memory written on your skin.”
